2000 SENTRA, WATER IN FRONT CARPET

SERVICE INFORMATION

If a 2000 Sentra exhibits water in the front carpet/pad, either on the driver's side or passenger side, the A/C drain hose may be disconnected. Use the following service procedure to resolve the incident.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Move the driver's seat all the way to the rear.

2. Remove the lower left side center console finisher as follows.





A. Pull the finisher outward at the points shown (see Figure 1) to disconnect it from the mounting clips.

B. Slide the finisher towards the rear of the vehicle to remove it (see Figure 1).





3. Confirm the A/C drain hose is fully installed on the cooling unit drain fitting (see Figure 2). Re-install the drain hose as necessary.

4. Re-install the center console side finisher.
