The charts shown identify 2001 Nissan model paint codes, New Cross Link Clear Coat (NCLC) usage, color names and refinish paint codes for major automotive paint manufacturers. For approved NCLC clear coat products and procedures, refer to Nissan Bulletin P195-004, dated March 8, 1995.

Warranty Paint Code Type Description

1 One-coat solid, W/O clear

2 Two-coat solid or metallic W/conv. clear

3 Two-coat pearl, pearl metallic, iron-oxide pearl or titanium metallic w/conv. clear

4 Three-coat pearl w/conv. clear

6 Two-tone: Based on Type 2 in combination

7 Two-tone: Based on Type 3 in combination

GA Two-coat solid or metallic w/NCLC

B Two-coat pearl, pearl metallic, graphite pearl, iron-oxide pearl or titanium metallic w/NCLC

Note 1:
All paint types have a clear coat, except "S" Solid (w/o clear).

Note 2:
Vehicles painted with NCLC clear coat will have a sticker on the shock tower in the engine compartment identifying the NCLC or "Hard Clear Coat".
