SERVICE INFORMATION








If it is required to remove or install the bolts that secure the flywheel or flexplate on one of the Applied vehicles/engines, use the special tools noted below. Refer to the "Essential Tool Shipment" flyers for additional information.

^ Use special tool J-45137 (TP5O Torx Plus) for M/T flywheel bolts. Do not use a standard T50 Torx bit as it can break or strip out.

^ Use special tool J-45816 (E20 Modified External Torx socket) for A/T flex plate bolts. Do not use a standard E20 Torx socket as this can round off the bolt heads.

These special tools are "Essential" and will be automatically sent to all Nissan dealers.

NOTE:
For the VQ35DE engine, use the standard T55 Torx socket, which is readily available from your local tool supplier.
