2002 ALTIMA; AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT 'ON' WITH CODE B1089/B1084 PRE-TEN FRONT LH/RH [SHORT]

APPLIED VEHICLE:
2002 Altima (L31)

IF YOU CONFIRM:

An applied vehicle has the following symptoms:

^ Air Bag Warning Light is 'ON'

^ CONSULT-II shows the following DTC codes:

PRE-TEN FRONT LH [SHORT] [B1089] (left front seat belt Pre-Tensioner SHORT circuit)

AND/OR

PRE-TEN FRONT RH [SHORT] [B1084] (right front seat belt Pre-Tensioner SHORT circuit).

ACTION:

Use the Service Procedure to repair the Body Harness for the Front Pre-Tensioner incident.

^ If you have only one code repair only that side.

^ If you have both codes repair both sides.
