19. A/T Does Not Shift: 22 --> 11, When Selector Lever 2 --> 1 Position

SYMPTOM: A/T does not shift from 2z=2 to 11 when changing selector lever from 2 to 1 position.

1. CHECK PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION (PNP) SWITCH CIRCUIT
With CONSULT-II
Does "TCM INPUT SIGNALS" in "DATA MONITOR" show damage to park/neutral position (PNP) switch circuit" cult?

Without CONSULT-II





Does self-diagnosis show damage to park/neutral position (PNP) switch circuit?
Yes or No
Yes >>Check park/neutral position (PNP) switch circuit.
No >>GO TO 2.

2. CHECK SYMPTOM





Check again.
OK or NG
OK >>INSPECTION END
NG >>GO TO 3.

3. CHECK TCM INSPECTION
1. Perform TCM input/output signal inspection.
2. If NG, recheck TCM pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.
OK or NG
OK >>INSPECTION END
NG >>Repair or replace damaged parts.
