SERVICE INFORMATION

If a 2002 Altima exhibits wind noise (buzzing or whistling sound) around the left or right front door area, particularly in cross-wind conditions, there may be a hole in the door panel sealer at the front edge of the door.

Use the service procedure in this bulletin to diagnose and resolve the incident, if it should occur.

SERVICE PROCEDURE





Fill the area shown in figure 1 with 3M Acryl-Green Spot Putty # 05960 sealer. Use appropriate touch-up paint to cover the sealer.
