SERVICE INFORMATION
On an applied vehicle: If the turn signals or hazard warning lights flash approximately 2 to 4 times faster than normal, check for the following:
^ A voltage adapter in one of the 12-volt "power plugs" (adapters used for cell phone chargers or other portable accessories).
^ The incident occurs only when using a voltage adapter.
^ When the adapter is removed, the turn signals and hazard warning lights flash at normal speed.
A service part (Flasher Unit-Comb.) is available to remedy this incident.
Use the Service Procedure in this bulletin to diagnose and remedy this incident, if it should occur.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Confirm the incident occurs under the conditions listed in the Service Information of this bulletin.
2. Replace the Flasher Unit-Comb. with the one listed in the Parts Information of this bulletin (see figure 1).
