IF YOU CONFIRM
The need to install an intake cowl screen to prevent the intrusion of foreign material.

ACTION
Install the intake cowl screen listed in this bulletin.





PARTS INFORMATION

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Remove the glove box assembly. Refer to the IP section of the ESM.

2. Remove the ECM.

3. Remove the blower motor, intake door motor and fan control amplifier connectors.

4. Remove the blower unit mounting fasteners and remove it.





5. Remove the adhesive backing from the screen and install the screen on the inside of the fresh air intake opening of the cowl as shown in Figure 1.

6. Reinstall the blower unit and reconnect the electrical connectors.

7. Reinstall the ECM and reinstall the glove box assembly.
