IF YOU CONFIRM:
^ The trunk lid is difficult to close
And
^ When using the interior trunk release or the remote button located on the key fob, the trunk lid does not open more than 10 inches or it "sticks" as you're closing it.
ACTIONS:
Apply grease to the trunk hinge pins and inspect the striker adjustment, as described in the Service Procedure (see page 2).

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Confirm the trunk is difficult to close.
2. Spray white lithium grease on both sides of each hinge, where the hinge pin is mounted (see Figure 1).
3. Open and close the trunk lid 3-4 times to work the grease into the hinge pins.
4. Inspect the trunk lid striker-to-latch clearance.
5. If needed, adjust the striker position.
