Removal and Installation of Soft Top Assembly

REMOVAL
1. Remove guard frame protector and back panel finisher.




2. Remove nut, at the soft top mounting bracket, rear.

CAUTION: Do not remove the soft top mounting bracket (rear).

Nut Torque: 28.0 Nm (2.9 kg-m, 21 ft-lb)




3. Fully open storage lid with soft top retracting. Remove bolts, fixed at the soft top mounting bracket (front).

CAUTION: Do not remove the soft top mounting bracket (front).

Bolt Torque: 28.0 Nm (2.9 kg-m, 21 ft-lb)




4. Remove bolts, at the soft top mounting plate and shims.

CAUTION: Do not remove shims.

Bolt Torque: 28.0 Nm (2.9 kg-m, 21 ft-lb)




5. Disconnect connector, and then remove soft top.
6. Remove soft top assembly.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
