8. CAN Communication System

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1. CONNECTOR INSPECTION
1. Disconnect the ABS actuator and electric unit connector E51, check the terminal for deformation, disconnection, looseness, and so on. If there is an error, repair or replace the terminal.
2. Securely reconnect the connector and conduct self-diagnosis.
Is "CAN COMM CIRCUIT" displayed in the self-diagnosis display items?
YES >> Print out the self-diagnosis results and go to 2.
NO >> Connector terminal connection is loose, damaged, open or shorted.

2. CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM CHECK
Check the data monitor item "CAN Diagnosis Support Monitor".





>> After printing out the monitor item, go to the CAN system. Precautions When Using CONSULT-II
