Service Procedure
1. Air Leak Noise Coming From Where the A-Link and B-Link Make Contact^ Make sure the EPT seals are positioned on top of the links correctly.
^ Carefully stick/position the seals so there is 0 to 1 mm gap at the "contact" point with the soft top closed (see Figure 1).
^ If needed, replace the seals with new ones:
P/N 97072-CE405 for A-Link
P/N 97072-CE410 for B-Link
2. Air Leak Noise From Between the A- and B-Link EPT Seals and the Soft Top Cloth
Noise occurs when driving at highway speeds.
^ Make sure the EPT seals are positioned on top of the links correctly. They may have slipped out of place (see Figure 1).
^ If needed, replace the seals with new ones:
P/N 97072-CE405 for A-Link
P/N 97072-CE410 for B-Link
3. Loud Wind/Hiss Noise From Around the C-Link
^ Remove the C-link weatherstrip (see Figure 2).
^ Make sure excess soft top cloth is tucked under the C-link retainer (no loose cloth). If needed, remove the C-link retainer and attach cloth to the C-link with strong double-sided tape. Then reinstall the retainer.
^ Make sure the EPT seal between the C-link retainer and the soft top cloth is in place. If needed, replace the seal with a new one: P/N 97072-CE415.
NOTE:
^ Make sure to remove the old seal (clean off all seal remains) before installing the new one.
^ Make sure to install the seal securely on the C-link so it will not slip off.
4. Air Leak Noise From the Lower End of the C-Link at the 5th Bow Hinge
^ Make sure the EPT seal is applied to the backside of the 5th bow weatherstrip (see Figure 3).
^ If needed, replace the seal with a new one: P/N 97072-CE420
5. Air Leak or Whistle Noise at the Front Corner/Edge of the Storage Lid

If needed, adjust the storage lid to fit as shown in Figure 3.
^ Make sure the EPT seal under the front corner of the storage lid is in place (see Figure 4).
If needed, replace the seal(s) with a new one:
P/N 972A3-CE400 for right side (passenger side).
P/N 972A3-CE401 for left side (driver's side).
