Notes on Wind Noise Diagnosis

^ Wind noise that requires a repair:

^ Whistle noise that is heard from a specific location(s).

^ It's so loud that you can hear it without having to put your ear right up to the location.

Wind noise that does not require a repair:

^ It's heard from the entire soft top: There is no specific source or location of the noise.

^ It's heard only when placing your ear right up to the source or location.

^ They're heard from other vehicles that are driving close by. It's heard when the soft top is down (open).
