IF YOU CONFIRM:

The vehicle has a clunk noise coming from the front suspension area when driving over bumps.

ACTIONS:

^ Verify the incident as described above.

^ Tighten the LEFT and RIGHT front upper link bolts to the torque specification listed in Service Procedure, below.

CLAIMS INFORMATION





Submit a Primary Failed Part (PP) line claim using the claims coding table.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Verify the incident as described in the IF YOU CONFIRM section shown in this bulletin.





2. Tighten the LEFT and RIGHT front upper link bolts to the correct torque as follows (see Figure 1):

NOTE:
You do NOT have to remove the wheel/tire assembly to torque the bolts.

A. Loosen the bolts one turn.

B. Then, torque the bolts to 50 - 60 Nm (5.1 - 6.1 kg-m, 37 - 44 ft-lb).

3. Verify the incident as described in the IF YOU CONFIRM section in this bulletin is no longer present.
