IF YOU CONFIRM





If you need to replace the Xenon headlamp housing (see Figure 1) for any mechanical reason.

AND

The electrical portions of the lamp work OK.

ACTIONS

The Xenon Headlamp Housing had previously only been available as a complete assembly (with electrics).

The housing is now available as a separate service part.

Do not replace the entire Headlamp housing for mechanical issues or physical damage.

Refer to "Disassembly and Assembly COMBINATION LAMP - XENON TYPE in section LT of the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for headlamp housing removal and installation procedures.

CAUTION:
The 0-ring (packing) must be replaced each time the ballast is removed and re-installed into the headlamp housing.
