The front door power window switch (left or right side) does not fit correctly and/or is loose (see Figure 1),

ACTION
Remove the power window switch, and then trim the door panel fabric as shown in the Service Procedure.

CLAIMS INFORMATION





Submit a Primary Failed Part (PP) line claim using the claims coding shown.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Remove the power window switch.





2. Trim the door panel fabric as shown in Figure 2.

^ The fabric must be trimmed so it won't be in the way of the locking clips on the power window switch housing.

^ Trim about 15 mm by 10 mm as shown in Figure 2.

CAUTION:
Do not trim any plastic parts; only trim the fabric in the areas shown.

NOTE:
Figure 2 shows the left side (driver side) power window switch. The right side (passenger side) is a mirror image.
