Removal and Installation
REMOVAL





1. Remove the drive shaft from the transaxle body.
2. Remove oil seal with a slotted screwdriver.

CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the case surface when removing the oil seal.

INSTALLATION





Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
^ Using Tool (drift), drive the new oil seal straight until it protrudes from the case end equal to dimension A as shown.
Dimension A: Within 0.5 mm (0.02 inch) or flush with the case.
Tool (drift): ST30720000 (325405)

CAUTION:
^ Before installing oil seal, apply multi-purpose grease to oil seal lips.

^ Oil seal is not reusable.
^ Check oil level after installation. Refer to Checking.
