Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

ACTUATOR








Removal
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Drain brake fluid.
3. Remove the A/C high pressure and A/C low pressure lines.
4. Remove strut tower bar (if equipped). Refer to FSU-5, "Components".
5. Remove mounting bracket bolts.
6. Disconnect harness connector and brake lines.

Installation
1. Connect brake lines temporarily.
2. Tighten bolts.
3. Tighten brake lines.
4. Connect harness connector and negative battery cable.
5. Install strut tower bar (if equipped). Refer to FSU-5, "Components".
6. Refill and bleed the brake fluid. Then bleed air.
7. Install the A/C high pressure and A/C low pressure lines. Evacuate and recharge the A/C system.
