Engine - Front End Clunk While Driving

2008 ALTIMA; INSPECTION FOR CLUNK NOISE FROM THE FRONT END
APPLIED VEHICLE:
2008 Altima (L32)
IF YOU CONFIRM:
There is a "clunk" noise heard from the front end of the vehicle while driving.
ACTION:
Check the tightness of the mounting bolt located on the engine mount torque rod and re-torque as necessary.
Refer to the Service Procedure in this bulletin for repair procedure.
CLAIMS INFORMATION
Submit a Primary Operation (P0) line claim using the claims coding table shown.
IMPORTANT:
The purpose of "ACTION" (above) is to give you a quick idea of the work you will be performing. You MUST closely follow the entire Service Procedure as it contains information that is essential to successfully completing the repair.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Remove the Cowl Top. Refer to section EXT in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for removal and installation procedure.
2. Remove bolts and bracket, see Figure 1.
NOTE:
There are 4 large bolts, 6 small bolts, and 1 nut on the bracket.
3. Check to make sure the bolt is tightened to the proper torque on the engine mount torque rod, see Figure 2.
Torque 80 - 108 Nm (6.01-8.15 Kg-m, 59 - 80 ft-lb).
4. Install bracket.
^ Torque 4 large bolts: 27-33 Nm (2.75-3.36 Kg-m, 20-24 ft-lbs)
^ Torque 6 small bolts and nut: 4.4-6.6 Nm (0.44-0.67 Kg-m, 3.2-4.8 ft-lbs)
5. Install cowl top.
6. Test drive the vehicle to make sure the issue has been resolved.
