TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FOR SYMPTOMS


In "P" Position, Vehicle Moves Forward or Backward When Pushed


SYMPTOM:
Vehicle moves when it is pushed forward or backward with selector lever in "P" position.

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
1.CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS
Perform self-diagnosis check. Refer to CONSULT-III Function (Transmission).
Do the self-diagnostic results indicate PNP switch circuit?
YES >> Check PNP switch circuit. Refer to Constant Velocity Transmission (CVT).
NO >> GO TO 2.
2.CHECK CVT POSITION
Check CVT position. Refer to CVT RE0F08A
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 3.
NG >> Adjust CVT position. Refer to CVT RE0F08A.
3.CHECK SYMPTOM
Check again. Refer to Check At Idle
OK or NG
OK >> INSPECTION END
NG >> Replace the transaxle assembly. Refer to Transaxle Assembly.
