Replace Rear Center Seatbelt Buckle (Only If Needed)
Replace Rear Center Seatbelt Buckle (only if needed)1. Snap loose the rear seat cushion.
^ Pull up in the area shown by arrows in Figure 4.
2. Slide the rear seat cushion forward.
3. Replace the center buckle.
^ Use buckle P/N determined (under Rear center Seatbelt Inspection).
^ Torque bolt to 49 Nm (5.0 kg-m, 36 ft-lb).
NOTE:
If the belt also needs replacement, skip to Replace Rear Center Seatbelt.
4. Reinstall the rear seat cushion.
^ Make sure each buckle is in the correct location.
5. Make sure the cargo area cloth is tucked under the cargo area trim (see Figure 7).
6. Make sure the rear center seatbelt latches correctly.
