Removal and Installation


Removal
1. Pull the service plug to disconnect the high voltage battery. Precautions For High-Voltage System.
2. Remove the rear seat. Removal and Installation
3. Remove rear body side welt and rear pillar finisher. Removal And Installation.
4. Remove rear parcel shelf finisher and high mount stop lamp, if equipped. Removal And Installation.
5. Remove trunk room trim. Removal And Installation.
6. Remove the EPS DC/DC converter cover nuts and remove the cover.
7. Remove the shield earth nut.
8. Disconnect the EPS motor power line (245 V) connector and clip.
9. Disconnect the EPS motor power line ground.
10. Disconnect the EPS motor power line (42 V) connector and clip.
11. Remove the EPS DC/DC converter nuts and remove the EPS DC/DC converter.

Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
Do not install an EPS DC/DC converter if it has been dropped or shocked, replace with a new one.
