DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION FOR DTC P0725 AND P1722

APPLIED VEHICLES: All Nissan 2007 and later (newer)

APPLIED TRANSMISSION: Equipped with CVT

SERVICE INFORMATION

When performing diagnostics for DTC P0725 (Engine Speed) and/or P1722 (Vehicle Speed), additional diagnostic steps to those in the Service Manual are needed to arrive at a correct repair.

Using the diagnostic flow charts in this bulletin will direct you to the additional steps needed for correct diagnosis.

DO NOT replace the Transmission Control Module (TCM), unless all diagnostic steps in this bulletin check OK and the Service Manual diagnostic steps direct TCM replacement.
