P POSITION WARNING DOES NOT OPERATE


Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK POWER POSITION
Check if ignition switch position is changing or not.
Does ignition switch position change?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - Check BCM for DTC. Testing and Inspection.
2.CHECK DETENTION SWITCH
Check BCM for DTC. Testing and Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 3.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
3.CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY WARNING BUZZER
Check Intelligent Key warning buzzer. Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 4.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
4.CHECK BUZZER (COMBINATION METER)
Check buzzer (combination meter). With Intelligent Key System.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 5.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
5.CHECK DOOR SWITCH
Check door switch (driver side). With Intelligent Key System.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 6.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
6.CHECK INSIDE KEY ANTENNA
Check inside key antenna.
- Instrument center: B2621.
- Luggage room: B2622.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 7.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
7.CHECK KEY WARNING LAMP
Check key warning lamp. Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 8.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
8.CHECK SHIFT P WARNING LAMP
Check shift P warning lamp. Work Flow.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 9.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
9.CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Confirm the operation again.
Is the result normal?
YES - Check intermittent incident. Intermittent Incident.
NO - GO TO 1.
