Fitting Adjustment












FRONT DOOR

Longitudinal Clearance
1. Remove the front fender. Service and Repair.
2. Loosen the front door hinge bolts.
3. Install the front fender. Service and Repair.
4. Open the front door and adjust up or down at the rear edge according to specification.
5. Remove the front fender. Service and Repair.
6. Tighten the front door hinge bolts.

Front door hinge bolts 20.6 N.m (2.1 kg-m, 15 ft-lb)

7. Install the front fender. Service and Repair.

Surface Height Adjustment
1. Loosen the front door hinge nuts.
2. Adjust the surface height difference of the fender and the front door according to specification.
3. Tighten the front door hinge nuts. Service and Repair.

Striker Adjustment






Striker screws 16.7 N.m (1.7 kg-m, 12 ft-lb)


REAR DOOR

Longitudinal Clearance
1. Remove the center pillar upper and lower garnishes. Body Side Trim.
2. Open the front door and loosen the rear door hinge bolts.
3. From inside the vehicle, loosen the upper hinge nut. Open the rear door, and raise or lower the rear door at the rear edge according to specification.
4. Tighten the rear door hinge bolts and nut.






5. Install the center pillar upper and lower garnishes. Body Side Trim.

Surface Height Adjustment
1. Loosen the rear door hinge nuts.
2. Adjust the surface height difference of front and rear doors according to specification.
3. Tighten the rear door hinge nuts. Service and Repair.

Striker Adjustment
