GUARD FRAME PROTECTOR ASSEMBLY : Removal and Installation


CAUTION:
Replace guard frame protector assembly with a new part after removal as it cannot be reused.

REMOVAL





1. Stop storage lid assembly as shown in the figure. (during open operation).

CAUTION:
Storage lid assembly may close due to low oil pressure.
Always support storage lid assembly in the fully open position.





2. Disengage guard frame protector assembly (1) fixing pawls with a remover tool (A).

Broken Triangle Indicates Pawl

3. Remove guard frame protector assembly.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
