Removal and Installation


Removal
1. Pull the service plug to disconnect the high voltage battery. Precautions For High-Voltage System.
2. Remove rear body side welt and rear pillar finisher. Removal And Installation.
3. Remove rear parcel shelf finisher and high mount stop lamp, if equipped. Rear Parcel Shelf Finisher.
4. Remove trunk room trim. Removal And Installation.
5. Remove the battery fan inlet duct and cooling duct. Disconnect and remove the HV battery blower motor. Exploded View.
6. Remove the EPS DC/DC converter cover nuts and remove the cover.
7. Remove the ground nut shield.
8. Disconnect the EPS motor power line (245 V) connector and clip.
9. Disconnect the EPS motor power line ground.
10. Disconnect the EPS motor power line (42 V) connector and clip.
11. Remove the EPS DC/DC converter nuts and remove the EPS DC/DC converter.

Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
Do not install an EPS DC/DC converter if it has been dropped or shocked, replace with a new one.
