Tighten cylinder head bolts in numerical order as shown in the figure with the following procedure.
Tighten all cylinder head bolts:
Turn all cylinder head bolts 100 degrees clockwise (angle tightening).
CAUTION:
Check and confirm the tightening angle by using an angle wrench [SST: KV-10112100 (BT-8653-A)] (A) or protractor.
Completely loosen
CAUTION:
In this step, loosen cylinder head bolts in reverse order that indicated in the figure.
Tighten all cylinder head bolts:
Turn all cylinder head bolts 95 degrees clockwise (angle tightening).
Turn all cylinder head bolts 95 degrees clockwise again (angle tightening).
Re-usability
CAUTION: If cylinder head bolts are reused, check their outer diameters before installation.
Cylinder Head Bolts Outer Diameter
Cylinder head bolts are tightened by plastic zone tightening method. Whenever the size difference between (d1) and (d2) exceeds the limit, replace them with a new one.
Limit [(d1) - (d2)]: 0.15 mm (0.0059 in)

Camshaft Bearing Cap Torque & Sequence
Tighten mounting bolts of camshaft brackets in the following steps, in numerical order as shown in the figure.
White arrow indicates : Engine front
M6 bolts [thread length: 57.5 mm (2.264 in)] : 13, 14, and 15 in the figure
M6 bolts [thread length: 35.0 mm (1.378 in)] : Except the above
Tighten mounting bolts in numerical order 1.96 Nm (0.20 kg-m, 17 in-lb)
Tighten mounting bolts in numerical order 5.88 N.m (0.60 kg-m, 52 in-lb)
Tighten mounting bolts in numerical order 9.5 N.m (0.97 kg-m, 84 in-lb)
