FRONT SEAT

DRIVER SIDE : Disassembly and Assembly - Seat Cushion


DISASSEMBLY - WITHOUT SEAT LIFTER

1.Remove seat reclining device lever.





Remove snap ring (1) using a suitable tool, then remove seat reclining device lever (2).
2.Remove seat cushion outer finisher.





a.Remove seat cushion outer finisher screw (A).
b.Pull seat cushion outer finisher (1) forward, disengage metal clips, and then remove seat cushion outer finisher.





3.Remove seat belt buckle:
a.Remove seat belt buckle harness clip and connector clip from seat frame & adjuster assembly. (Driver seat only)
b.Remove seat belt buckle anchor bolt. Remove seat belt buckle from seat frame & adjuster assembly.
4.Remove seat cushion inner finisher:





a.Remove seat cushion retainer (A), and then roll up seat cushion trim (1).
b.Remove seat cushion inner finisher screw (B).
c.Slide seat cushion inner finisher (2) rearward, disengage clips, and then remove seat cushion inner finisher while pulling it forward.





5.Remove seat cushion trim, and seat cushion pad from seat frame & adjuster assembly:





a.Remove seatback rubber band (A) and retainer (B) installed on seat frame & adjuster assembly.





b.Remove seat cushion trim hog rings (A) installed on seat frame
& adjuster assembly.
c.Remove seat cushion trim and seat cushion pad from seat frame & adjuster assembly.
6.Remove hog rings, and separate the seat cushion trim and seat cushion pad.

CAUTION:
Before separating, check the installation position of hog rings.

ASSEMBLY

Assembly is in the reverse order of disassembly.

CAUTION:
- Check seat cushion pad and seat cushion trim for damage. Replace with new part if necessary.





- Install hog ring to the specified position as shown.










DISASSEMBLY - WITH SEAT LIFTER

1.Remove seat lifter lever.





a.Disengage pawls and remove seat lifter lever cap (1).
b.Remove screws and remove seat lifter lever (2).





2.Remove seat reclining device lever.





Remove snap ring (1) using a suitable tool, and then remove seat reclining device lever (2).
3.Remove seat cushion outer finisher:





a.Remove seat cushion outer finisher screw (A).
b.Pull seat cushion outer finisher (1) forward, disengage metal clips, and then remove seat cushion outer finisher.





4.Remove seat belt buckle:
a.Remove seat belt buckle harness clip and connector clip from seat cushion frame and seat frame &
adjuster assembly.
b.Remove seat belt buckle anchor bolt. Remove seat belt buckle from seat frame & adjuster assembly.
5.Remove seat cushion inner finisher.





a.Remove seat cushion inner finisher (1) screw (B).
b.Roll up seat cushion trim (A).
c.Slide seat cushion inner finisher rearward, disengage clips, and then remove seat cushion inner finisher while pulling it forward.





6.Remove seat cushion assembly from seat frame & adjuster assembly.





a.Remove seatback retainer (A) and seat cushion retainer (B)
installed on seat cushion frame.





b.Remove bolts of seat cushion frame. Remove seat cushion frame from seat frame & adjuster assembly.
7.Remove seat cushion trim and seat cushion pad from seat cushion frame:





a.Remove string hooked on portion (A) of seat cushion frame (1).





b.Loosen string. Remove seat cushion pad and seat cushion trim seat cushion frame.
8.Remove hog rings, and separate the seat cushion trim and seat cushion pad.

CAUTION:
Before separating, check the installation position of hog rings.

ASSEMBLY

Assembly is in the reverse order of disassembly.

CAUTION:
- Check seat cushion pad and seat cushion trim for damage. Replace with new part if necessary.





- Install hog ring to the specified position as shown.
