Interior lamps will illuminate if a remote unlock occurs. The interior lamps will remain on for 40 seconds or until:
- A remote lock command occurs. At this time the interior lamps will immediately turn off.
- The driver's door is opened then closed. The interior lamps will then remain on for 10 seconds or until the vehicle's ignition switch is turned to the "RUN" position. The interior lamps will then "dim-to-off."
- A door or liftgate other than the drivers door is opened then closed. The interior lamps will then immediately "dim-to-off."

IMPORTANT: Interior lamp operation is influenced by the interior lamp switch located on the lower center console. If the switch is in the "OFF" position. the interior lamps will only operate from the headlamp/instrument panel lamp dimmer/accessory switch and will inhibit the "dim-to-off" feature.
