PSD Controller

The Power Sliding Door (PSD) Controller is located on the front portion of the PSD Assembly, behind the rear RH quarter panel. The PSD Controller monitors inputs from the "PWR DOOR ON/OFF" switch, "PWR DOOR" (Open/Close) switches, and the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR). The PSD Controller also determines the doors position through a Detent Switch. The Detent Switch will signal as the door moves to the ajar position and to the fully closed position. The Optical Sensor informs the PSD Controller of the doors exact position in its travel.

IMPORTANT: The PSD Controller cannot retain memory during a power loss. If any of the conditions below do or have existed, refer to Reinitialization of the Power Sliding Door, in the Circuit Operation. Reinitialization of the Power Sliding Door (Psd)
A. Disconnected battery.
B. Low or dead battery.
C. Removal or blown GAUGES fuse.
D. Removal or blown TAIL fuse.
E. Removal or blown TURN B/U fuse.
F. Exiting PSD Diagnostics.
