Oil Pressure Gauge

The two-position Fuel Pump and Engine Oil Pressure Indicator Switch opens when oil pressure is greater than 24 kPa (3 psi). This permits current to flow through the 68 ohm Oil Pressure Indicator Gage Resistor and CKT 331 and causes the Oil Pressure Gage to deflect to approximately 3/4 scale.

If the engine oil pressure falls below 24 kPa (3 psi) the switch closes allowing an increased current flow through CKT 331. This causes the Oil Pressure Gage to indicate a low oil pressure.
