Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Lamp Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDUREIMPORTANT: This procedure calls for the replacement of incandescent bulbs only. The light emitting diodes (LEDs) are not replaceable individually. If LED replacement is needed, replace the entire instrument panel cluster (IPC).
CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the instrument panel (IP) cluster.
3. Unclip the IP cluster rear cover plate by prying gently on the tabs with a screwdriver.
4. Remove the rear cover plate from the IP cluster.
5. Remove the bulb and base assembly by turning the bulb one-half turn counter clockwise and pulling outward.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: This procedure calls for the replacement of incandescent bulbs only. The light emitting diodes (LEDs) are not replaceable individually. If LED replacement is needed, replace the entire instrument panel cluster (IPC).
1. Install the bulb(s) into the cluster by inserting the bulb and base assembly and turning the bulb one-half turn clockwise.
2. Carefully snap the rear cover plate to the IP cluster.
3. Install the IP cluster.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
