Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement (Bucket Seat Replacement) .
2. Remove the map pocket net, if equipped. Refer to Front Seat Map Pocket Net Replacement (Map Pocket Net Replacement - Front Seat) .
3. Remove the cup holder, if equipped. Refer to Front Seat Cup Holder Replacement (Cupholder Replacement - Front Seat) .
4. Remove the finish covers. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement (Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement) .
5. Remove the front seat buckle with pretensioner. Refer to Seat Belt Buckle Pretensioner Replacement.
6. Remove the seat adjuster mechanism from the seat frame.
Refer to the appropriate sections:

* Front seat adjuster (2-way Manual, 4-way Manual), if equipped. Refer to Manual Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement (Two-Way Manual) (Manual Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement (Two-Way Manual))Manual Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement (Four-Way Manual) (Manual Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement (Four-Way Manual)) .
* Front seat adjuster (6-way Power), if equipped. Refer to Power Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement (Power Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement) .

7. Remove the recliner covers starting with the rear portion of the cover.




8. Remove the recliner bolts.
9. Separate the seat cushion from the seat back.




10. Remove the J retainer (1) from the bottom of the seat cushion.




11. Remove the seat cover retainer rings (hog rings) (2).
12. Remove the seat cushion cover (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the seat cushion cover (1).
2. Install the seat cover retainer rings (hog rings) (2).




3. Install the J retainer (1) at the bottom of the seat cushion.
4. Install the seat cushion to the seat back.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the front seat recliner bolts.

Tighten the front seat bolts to 48 N.m (35 lb ft).

6. Install the recliner covers over the recliner mechanism.
7. Install the seat adjuster mechanism to the seat frame.

* Front Seat Adjuster (6-way Power), if equipped. Power Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement (Power Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement) .

8. Install the front seat buckle with Pretensioner. Refer to Seat Belt Buckle Pretensioner Replacement.
9. Install the finish covers. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement (Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement) .
10. Install the cup holder, if equipped. Refer to Front Seat Cup Holder Replacement (Cupholder Replacement - Front Seat) .
11. Install the map pocket net, if equipped. Refer to Front Seat Map Pocket Net Replacement (Map Pocket Net Replacement - Front Seat) .
12. Install the front seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement (Bucket Seat Replacement) .
