Check Engine Oil Pressure

The IPC illuminates the low oil pressure indicator in the message center when the PCM detects low or failed engine oil pressure. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM. The IPC also sends a message to the BCM to chime the audible warning continuously when the condition exists.
