Fog Lamp Replacement - Front

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Halogen bulbs contain gas under pressure. Handling a bulb improperly could cause it to shatter into flying glass fragments. To help avoid personal injury:
^ Turn off the lamp switch and allow the bulb to cool before changing the bulb.
^ Leave the lamp switch OFF until the bulb change is complete.
^ Always wear eye protection when changing a halogen bulb.
^ Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass.
^ Keep dirt and moisture off the bulb.
^ Properly dispose of the used bulb.
^ Keep halogen bulbs out of the reach of children.
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
2. Remove the front tires.
3. Remove the front fender liners.
4. Remove the outer fog lamp screw.
5. Remove the inner fog lamp screws.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fog lamp.
7. Remove the fog lamp assembly from the vehicle.
8. Use J 38778 in order to remove the push-in retainers that retain the fog lamp to the fog lamp bracket.
9. In order to remove the fog lamp bulb from the fog lamp, turn the fog lamp bulb counterclockwise.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the fog lamp bulb to the fog lamp.
2. Align the fog lamp to the fog lamp bracket.
3. Install the push-in retainers to the fog lamp bracket.
4. align the fog lamp assembly to the front bumper fascia.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
5. Install the screws that retain the fog lamp to the front bumper fascia.
Tighten
Tighten the fog lamp to front bumper fascia screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
6. Install the electrical connector to the fog lamp.
7. Install the outer fog lamp screw.
Tighten
Tighten the outer fog lamp screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
8. Install the front fender liners.
9. Install the tires.
10. Lower the vehicle.
