Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Head Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the automatic level control air compressor from the vehicle. Refer to Air Compressor Replacement.
2. Remove the air dryer from the automatic level control air compressor. Refer to Automatic Level Control Air Dryer Replacement.
3. Remove the wiring terminals B and C from the automatic level control air compressor electrical connector.





4. Remove the bolts/screws from the automatic level control air compressor head (2).
5. Remove the automatic level control air compressor head.
6. Remove the O-ring (3) from the automatic level control air compressor.

Installation Procedure





1. Route the wires through the tie strap and the conduit.
2. Install the O-ring (3) to the automatic level control air compressor.





3. Install the air compressor head.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the air compressor head bolts.
^ Tighten the air compressor head bolts in the order shown to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).
5. Install the wiring to terminals B and C on the automatic level control air compressor electrical connector.
6. Install the air dryer to the automatic level control air compressor. Refer to Automatic Level Control Air Dryer Replacement.
7. Install the automatic level control air compressor to the vehicle. Refer to Air Compressor Replacement.
