Door Replacement - Side Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the power window switch.
2. Remove the trim panel.
3. Remove the inner window belt sealing strip.
4. Remove the outer window belt sealing strip.
5. Remove the upper sealing strip.
6. Remove the inside release handle.
7. Remove the water deflector.
8. Remove the speaker.
9. Remove the window.
10. Remove the stationary window and run channel assembly.
11. Remove the window regulator.
12. Remove the door latch assembly.
13. Remove the outside door handle.
14. Remove the check link.
15. Remove the wire harness from the door.




16. Remove the bolts that retain the door to the hinge plates.
17. Remove the door from the vehicle with an assistant.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the door to the vehicle with an assistant.
2. Apply LOCTITE Blue GM P/N 12345382 or equivalent to the fastener be installation.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the bolts that retain the door to the hinge plates.

Tighten the bolts 8 N.m (71 lb in).

4. Install the wire harness to the door.
5. Install the check link.
6. Install the outside door handle.
7. Install the door latch assembly.
8. Install the window regulator.
9. Install the stationary window and run channel assembly.
10. Install the window.
11. Install the speaker.
12. Install the water deflector.
13. Install the inside release handle.
14. Install the upper sealing strip.
15. Install the outer window belt sealing strip.
16. Install the inner window belt sealing strip.
17. Install the door trim panel.
18. Install the power window switch.
