Window Adjustment - Midgate
Adjustment Procedure
1. Open the mid gate.
2. Loosen the mid gate window run channel retaining screws.
3. Close the mid gate.
4. Lower the mid gate window out of the mid gate weatherstrip.
5. Remove the mid gate window regulator adjustment covers (2) from the mid gate inner panel.
6. Loosen the lower regulator attachment nuts (3).
7. Adjust the fore/aft position of the mid gate window by turning the adjustment screws (1).
* To move the top edge of window rearward, turn the adjustment screws clockwise.
* To move the top edge of the window forward, turn the adjustment screws counterclockwise.
* Each revolution of the adjustment screw moves the top edge of the window 0.5 mm (0.02 in) forward or rearward.
* Maximum adjustment is 6 revolutions in either direction.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
8. Tighten the lower regulator attachment nuts (3).
Tighten the regulator attachment nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
9. Tighten the mid gate window run channel retaining screws. Refer to Window Channel Replacement - Midgate.
10. Install the mid gate window regulator adjustment covers (2) to the mid gate inner panel.
