Door Module Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door. Service and Repair
2. Remove the front door rubber conduit. Refer to Rubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door (Rubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door) .
3. Remove the front door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door (Front Side Door Window Replacement) .
4. Remove the front door outside handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Front Outside (Service and Repair) .




5. Remove the front door lock module screws.
6. Remove the front door lock module from the front door.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the front door lock module to the front door.
2. Align the lock module locator pin into the upper edge of the front door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the front door lock module screws.

Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the front door outside handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Front Outside (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the front door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door (Front Side Door Window Replacement) .
6. Install the front door rubber conduit. Refer to Rubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door (Rubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door) .
7. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door. Service and Repair
