Mirror Replacement - Power (With Turn Signal Indicator)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door. Service and Repair
2. Remove the cowl side trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side (Trim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side) in Interior Trim.
3. Remove the closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right (Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.




4. Disconnect the outside rearview mirror turn signal indicator electrical connector.
5. Route the outside rearview mirror turn signal indicator electrical harness through the opening in the side of the instrument panel and through the rubber conduit into the inner front door.




6. Disconnect the outside rearview mirror electrical connectors.
7. Remove the outside rearview mirror nuts.
8. Remove the outside rearview mirror from the front door.



Installation Procedure





1. Route the outside rearview mirror turn signal indicator electrical harness through the opening in the front door panel, through the rubber conduit and through the opening into the side of the instrument panel.
2. Position the outside rearview mirror to the front door.
3. Connect the outside rearview mirror electrical connectors.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the outside rearview mirror nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).





5. Connect the outside rearview mirror turn signal indicator electrical connector.
6. Install the closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right (Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
7. Install the cowl side trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side (Trim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side) in Interior Trim.
8. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door. Service and Repair
