ECM Compressor Control Test
ECM Connector Test:
1. Measure the voltage to ground at the following terminals of the ECM. Leave the connector in place.
^ If Battery voltage is not present at terminal D11, repair open in PPL (901) wire.
^ If Battery voltage is not present at terminal B8, repair open in LT BLU (67) wire.
^ If Battery voltage is not present at terminal A2, check for an open the the LT GRN/BLK (368) wire. If wire is good, replace the A/C Cut-Out Relay.
^ If all voltages are correct, proceed to Step 2.
2. Temporarily connect terminal A2.
^ If A/C Cut-Out Relay operates and turns on the compressor, the A/C Compressor Control wiring is good. Refer to Powertrain Management/Computers and Controls/Testing and Inspection/Procedures for ECM diagnosis. Testing and Inspection
^ If the A/C Cut-Out Relay does not operate or the compressor does not turn on, replace the A/C Cut-Out Relay.
