Object: Check that all the components involved allow the frequency valve to impose a 50% OCR on deceleration.

1. With the OCR tester and the bypass harness connected, activate the switch on the 8.0141 P harness and start the engine.
2. Stabilize engine speed at 1900 RPM. The tachymetric relay makes contact between wires 82C and 187 and thus can supply a switched + to the 50% OCR relay and the fuel injection cut-out electrovalve. Under these conditions, the OCR varies in accordance with the regulation.
3. With the RPM maintained at 1,900 RPM, press on the microswitch (2), Fig. 4. This makes it possible to provide a ground for wire 47R via the 50% OCR relay, to cut-out the fuel injection via the electrovalve, to ground wire 84 of the cold cut-out relay to control the twin-speed relay and to shut off vacuum to the vacuum advance capsule. (Energizing of the electrovalve). Under these conditions, the OCR value is fixed at 50%.
NOTE : This value appears for only a few seconds on the meter.
