FIRST OPERATION

1. Connect the OCR tester and the bypass harness.
2. Disconnect wire 141 on the Lambda sensor, Fig 11.
3. Activate switch on 8.0141 P harness and start engine. The OCR meter must show a reading of 50% (45°).
4. If the meter does not show 50% note the value read and shut off the engine and the pumps (switch on 8.0141 P harness).

5. If the OCR value leans toward the maximum check the insulation of wire 141 between pin #2 of connector, Fig. 2, and ground.
6. If the OCR value is not 50% and it does not lean toward the maximum run another test using a new control box.

SECOND OPERATION

Fig. 12 Lambda seneor wire - grounded:

1. Ground the Lambda sensor wire 141, Fig. 12.
2. Activate the switch on 8.0141 P harness and start the engine. The value read on the OCR meter must read toward the maximum.

3. If the OCR meter does not show the maximum but 50% (45°) check the continuity of wire 141 between the Lambda sensor and the control box connector (8a) (pin #2), Fig. 2.
4. Reconnect wire 141 on the Lambda sensor once the test has been made.
