SUBJECT: CFC REPLACEMENTS FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS

MODELS: ALL PEUGEOT VEHICLES


We have received information from the Association of International Automobile Manufacturers, Inc. (AIAM), that a replacement for refrigerant R-12 is being marketed under the name "Alaskankool 176."

While we applaud the use of more environmentally safe compounds, this product has apparently caused some serious damage to air conditioning systems.
