Subject: 505 STATION WAGON MOTOR MOUNTS, TRANSMISSION MOUNTS, AND VIBRATION DAMPERS
Due to similarities in appearance between the above mentioned parts on the 505 gasoline and turbodiesel powered station wagons, the following is supplied for information purposes.
Motor Mounts:
Motor Mounts
XN6 Engine - Part No. 1807.25
Mount is rectangular in shape. Mounting holes are located in the vertical center of the base plate.
Motor Mounts:
XD2S Engine - Part No. 1807.28
Mount is shaped like a parallelogram. Mounting holes are offset to one side of the base plate.
Transmission Mounts:
Transmission Mounts
XN6 Engine - Part No. 1843.70
Damper mounting studs angle upward from right to left. Lower right side stud is approximately 10 mm from edge of mount.
Transmission Mounts:
XD2S Engine - Part No. 1843.68
Damper mounting studs angle upward from left to right. Lower left side stud is approximately 10 mm from edge of mount.
Vibration Dampers:
Vibration Dampers
XN6 Engine - Part No. 1874.08
Dampers are rectangular in shape. One is short, 55 mm, and the other is long, 70 mm.
Vibration Dampers:
XD2S - Engine Part No. 1874.09
Both dampers are the same height. One is rectangular, one is a "hammer head".

Please be advised that we are reissuing Service Bulletin
No. 146A, Class 15 that was recently distributed. There was an unintentional error on the mounting of the vibration dampers to the transmission mounts on page 2.
Please discard the old bulletin and replace with the new revised copy.
