Subject: POTENTIOMETER AND MICROSWITCH TESTER CHECK-OUT PROCEDURE
It has come to our attention that a limited number of potentiometer and microswitch testers, P.N. 91.43 may have been miswired. If, in using the tester, you have not been able to get proper readings while doing the potentiometer test, the following action should be taken:
1. Remove the four screws holding the cover plate in place and carefully lift the plate away from the case.
2. Check the wires going to the three potentiometer test jacks. The connections should be as follows:
Red jack - one red, one pink wire and LED lead.
Black jack - black/red wire, blue wire, LED lead.
Blue jack - white wire.
3. If necessary, carefully remove any misconnected wires and resolder them to the proper terminal.
4. Replace cover plate and screws.
