1. In the K-Jetronic fuel injection system, the quantity of fuel supplied to the cylinders is very closely related to the air flow past the sensor plate. Any additional air intake not accounted for by the air flow sensor plate will result in poor engine performance. It is therefore very important to check the air intake system for leaks. Check very carefully the air intake circuit between the air filter (1), the cylinder head (2), and in particular, the various points called out by an arrow in Figs. 11 and 12.
