Residual Pressure Test
1. When the warm engine control pressure is reached, stop the fuel pump and note the pressure drop.
2. After 10 minutes the pressure must be 2.7 bars (39.2 PSI) minimum.
3. After 20 minutes the pressure must be 2.6 bars (37.7 PSI) minimum.
4. Should the residual pressure drop too fast, proceed by elimination:
5. Retighten all fittings and connections of the fuel circuit.
6. Check the cold start injector for leaks.
7. Check the injectors for leaks.
8. Remove and clean the fuel pump non return valve using tool number (-).0141 BA or equivalent.
9. Remove and clean the control pressure regulator and replace if necessary.
10. Replace the fuel accumulator.
