RECALL CAMPAIGN - 1986 PEUGEOT 505 SEDAN AND STATION WAGON GROUND TREE RETAINING BOLT REPLACEMENT AND OR REPAIR.
This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
Automobiles Peugeot has determined that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in the 1986 Peugeot 505 vehicles within the VIN range given below.
A manufacturing defect in the ground tree retaining bolts may cause the bolts to fail, resulting in loss of power to the fuel pumps and/or loss of front and rear lighting, loss of windshield wipers and washers, and loss of dashboard lighting and interior accessories.
